Sharon Johnson
Sharon Johnson
Sharon Johnson is the youngest of 10 children. She was born and raised under humble parentage in the Rural area of Jamaica West Indies. She attended Dallas All Age School for her early education and was successful in the Common Entrance Examination which opened the door for attending Holy Childhood High School.
Sharon has had her fair share of struggles as a child and her high school years posed a different kind of struggle. In the beginning she was focused, the years were enjoyable and the grades were desirable. In the end, the glitter and glamour of the city lights and the happenings that attracted most teenagers became so appealing; she lost focus. She believed that her best escape route would be to migrate to the United States for a better future, still not understanding that unless she applied herself that she would not succeed. The exam grades were less than desirable.
She migrated to the United States at age 19. It did not take her any time though to figure it out. Everyone seemed very busy trying to make a living so Sharon jumped in the fast lane and was determined to succeed. She purchased her first house at age 23. Sharon worked at a Bank and later at a car dealership and funded herself through college and university. Upon achieving her degree in Health Services Administration, she established a business in case management and later became Co-Business owner of KDM’s Services Nurse Registry where she currently works as the Administrator. Along with that she is the President of TeenEsteem Program.
This ministry was established by her sister, the late Venoris Patten. Sharon is determined to continue this ministry because she shares the vision
of fueling the lives of the younger generation to success. She knows that todays youths are tomorrow’s leaders. Sharon serves out of her conviction of impacting the community for Christ; her goal is to change one life at a time. She has made Alma B. Androzzo quote her daily theme, “if I can help somebody as I pass along, if I can cheer somebody with a word or song, if I can show somebody that he/she is traveling wrong, then my living will not be in vain.” Sharon’s passion in life is to make a difference in the lives of others. Her hobbies are traveling, singing, dancing, and spending quality time in God’s presence.
